Brendan Taylor won his first bracelet in event # 53
The event # 53, a $ 1,500 Limit Holdem Shootout , attracted 548 participants for a bracelet and $ 184,950 dollars the first place. Three days later, Brendan Taylor Ben Yu was imposed in the Heads-Up and won his first WSOP bracelet .
Eight players reached the final table that lasted for over nine hours. Taylor was placed in fifth place, but when there were only four players had managed to accumulate more than half the chips in the tournament . Thereafter, nothing could stop him and he dropped his last three opponents.
Ben Yu was Taylor’s opponent in heads-up. Interestingly, both are very good friends and share a house in Las Vegas. However, Yu was little he could do, especially for having a disadvantage of more than 10 to 1 in chips about Taylor .
