We have champion SPT 2008 Grand Final which was held over the last week in the Casino Costa Meloneras: German Alexander Jung.
As we told you (you can see here the summaries of the day 1 and day 2) this stop SPT conclusive met a large number of foreign players which, in fact, were the majority at the final table. Among the nine finalists were only three Spanish players: Javier Domínguez, Joan Manuel Baena and Company. On the other hand, the level was high, with some of the best European players, as the Norwegian star Johnny Lodden.
The tournament was finally resolved by agreement between the two players who reached the heads-up, German and Italian Pietro Jung Palomba, who had been chip leader for much of the tournament. In the final hand, when Jung was already ahead, the German was subtracted pre-flop with pocket nines and Palomba called with pocket fours. The board came 4 TJ 9 5, giving the turn around completely, and giving victory to Jung.
After the pact prizes at the final table were as follows:

2. Pietro Palomba (45,000 €)
